‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 spoilers: More reasons to be terrified of Negan

twdIf you’ve read the “Walking Dead” comic books, you know a thing or two about Negan so far, to say the least. He’s one of the most notorious villains in the entire series, he’s deadly, and he also has a crew around him who are loyal to him. There are few other opponents who we’ve seen who are quite like him. The Governor is obviously another notorious person, but the difference here may be that Negan is better-equipped for the long game.

If you’re interested in seeing further what could be coming when Jeffrey Dean Morgan surfaces as the character later this year, take a look at the comments below courtesy of executive producer Robert Kirkman (per Entertainment Weekly):

“As far as shake-ups go, we have lots of shake-ups from season to season … It keeps things interesting — keeps the blood pumping, I like to say — but Negan is kind of an atomic bomb that’s going to be dropped on the show and the show will probably never be the same after that. So buckle up, I guess?”

The only thing that will probably frustrate many about Negan is waiting for him. The show chose to set the villain up in the midseason finale, but we don’t get the sense that we will be seeing him in the flesh until either near or at the season 6 finale. Then, when he shows up you better believe that this is someone who means serious business.
