‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: NeNe Leakes returns to shake things up

For anyone out there who thought that this season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” was starting to get a little boring, maybe the following news will get you excited: NeNe Leakes is officially back! We knew that it would be happening at some point this season, and the time for waiting is now officially at an end.

Based on the promo below, NeNe’s arrival may come as a surprise to some, but she will bring entertainment almost from the moment she and her new super-long hair turn up. Also, expect to see Kenya Moore’s family issues continue following her trip from Detroit; we sympathize with her over not getting a chance to speak with her mother, but at the same time feel like she doesn’t necessarily have the right to come pounding on her mom’s door when she is also carting a full camera crew along with her. Let’s be honest here: It’s not like she was just strolling by looking for a one-on-one chat. It was under her terms.

“Phaedra hosts a trip to the nation’s capital to garner support for her Save Our Sons organization and invites a few of the ladies to tag along. During their visit to Congress, Kim once again finds herself on the outskirts of the festivities. Kenya’s family drama continues after she returns from Detroit resulting in an argument with her Aunt Lori. Kandi and Todd work to convince her aunt’s to join in on their next business venture. Meanwhile, former besties Cynthia and NeNe reunite over cocktails and plenty of laughs.”
