‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Will Jubilee Sharpe, Ben Higgins’ date bring them closer together?

Jubilee Sharpe is to us one of the most-interesting contestants on this season of “The Bachelor,” so it certainly comes as a nice surprise to see that she is going to get a chance to spend some time alone with Ben Higgins on Monday night’s new episode! We’ve gotten a chance to hear quite a bit of her story so far, but now comes the time to see whether or not she could click with him as a future fiancee.

Well, what’s interesting that the synopsis of their date below suggests that not everything goes particularly great at first; however, it does manage to pick up over time:

“No one is more surprised when Jubilee gets the next one-on-one date – including Jubilee! A helicopter lands in mansion driveway and lifts off to take the couple to the exclusive Cal-A-Vie Health Spa in Vista, CA. The date starts off awkwardly, but proceeds to become more romantic with plenty of enthusiastic kissing. They also open up to one another about their mutual insecurities and undeniable chemistry. Jubilee is comfortable enough with Ben to share heart-wrenching details about her painful past.”

The preview for this episode showed some conflict with Jubilee, but our feeling is that it happens more at the mansion with the other women than on this date. Also, some of it could just stem from the fact that she is someone fresh off of a solo date with the leading man, and that almost always does lead to a little bit of jealousy here and there. This is one of the hard things that comes from being either a producer or contestant favorite: With attention comes greater scrutiny.
