‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 12 preview: Frank Reagan’s latest dilemma
Friday night’s new episode of “Blue Bloods” is a matter of days away, and what we imagine that we are going to see in this episode is yet another major-league dilemma for Frank Reagan to go through. Sometimes, the issues he comes across are external; unfortunately, this time around the struggle is clearly an internal one.
As you’ll see in the video below, Tom Selleck’s character is going to be dealing with with a significant dilemma brought on by Office Carpenter wanting to honor her late father with a badge number. The issue is that this same badge number is one that has been retired, specifically because it belonged to his late son Joe Reagan (it’s been a while since his name has been mentioned on the show). Should Frank authorize this, it would be a chance for Carpenter to pay tribute to someone she cares about; however, is Frank really ready to let this go?
Frank is not ready in this scene to make a decision one way or another, and as a result Jamie (who is there on Carpenter’s behalf) allows him to have a little bit more time. We’d be surprised if there is no resolution to this by the end of the episode. It’s the perfect one-episode story for “Blue Bloods,” and also one where Frank’s actions will be understood most likely no matter what outcome he chooses.
