‘Suits’ season 5, episode 11: First look at Patrick J. Adams’ Mike in ‘Blowback’
The fifth season of “Suits” will be returning to USA with new episodes starting on Wednesday, January 27, and based on the first photo above, you are going to see Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) in a position quite like you have never seen him before, at least other than the midseason finale: In handcuffs. Someone has turned him in, and he is going to be taking his first steps towards being behind bars for committing fraud pretty much every time he took on a new case.
As you can see in Mike’s eyes, this is pretty much the worst day of his life. He had a great job at Pearson Specter Litt, had Louis finally off of his back, and also was starting to plan his wedding to Rachel. He was finally comfortable in his life, but the problem is that he had this ghost haunting him in the back of his mind.
So who is responsible for turning him in? This is the major mystery that the reset of the season is going to try to examine. It’s possible that many people out there end up guessing who is the responsible party, and it is surely possible that the writers would not even care about it. Just as “Suits” often does (proving further that this is a great show), it tends to focus much more on producing great television that makes sense rather than going for the shock value.
If you want shock value, rest assured that there are probably many other shows out there that you can enjoy.
