‘Doctor Who’ season 10: Will Peter Capaldi cameo on ‘Class’ in addition to filming new episodes?

Doctor WhoFilming for “Doctor Who” season 10 does not begin for many more months still, but that is not stopping us from pondering over some of the future for the franchise … and that includes the upcoming BBC Three series “Class,” which we imagine is going to appeal to younger audiences.

However, one thing that may surprise some out there is that for now, there hasn’t been much talk about the Doctor himself making a cameo in the new series. Speaking per Digital Spy, Peter Capaldi did express at least some willingness to show up if it is asked of him to do so:

“I’m sure that might be fun, yes, but nobody’s asked me yet! To be honest, I haven’t seen any of the scripts, but yes, obviously as a spin-off it’d be nice if the Doctor did show up from time to time.

This may be something that is rectified at some point in the future, at least so long as it is ultimately the goal that “Doctor Who” wants to include the Doctor as a part of the spin-off. Maybe this is one of those moves to establish some creative difference between the two, or a fear that bringing in Capaldi would overshadow everything else that they are doing. It’s hard to say ultimately.

What we do know is that for now, we’re probably in the quietest period we are going to in for the full year in regards to news on “Doctor Who.” Knowing the way that the internet works the vast majority of the time, we have a feeling that all of this will change when we roll around to getting deeper in the year.
