Conan O’Brien remembers David Bowie through highlights on ‘Conan’

Conan -

We started off our coverage today by writing about the sad death of music icon David Bowie, and it only feels right to end the day by presenting a series of memories related to the singer.

On Monday night’s “Conan,” you are going to see Conan O’Brien present a series of clips from his “Late Night” days when Bowie made several appearances on the show. Many of them are funny, and all of them are interesting in some shape or form. One thing that we are really grateful to NBC for (which is not something we often say these days when it comes to Conan) is that they have been very generous in letting some clips from his past shows to be used on TBS, and they once again do so here. Hats off to the crew for putting this together in such a short span of time.

What is nice about looking at some of these montages and tributes is that there are so few other venues to see them. How many people out there really have videos saved from some of these past interviews? It’s hard to ultimately, but it is nice that so much of his past gives to live on today, just like much of his music will. he lived a full life, and we appreciate “Conan” putting this together

We’ll have some more TV-related headlines when it comes to Bowie’s passing soon. For now, our thoughts and well-wishes continues to go out to everyone who cares about him during this difficult time.

If you missed it, head over to the link here to see how the passing of Bowie has impacted “Celebrity Big Brother,” one of the most-popular shows airing right now in the United Kingdom. You can also sign up here to join our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: TBS.)
