‘Bachelor Live’ episode 2: Chris Soules, Kris Jenner talk Lace Morris, Ben Higgins

Tonight’s new episode of “The Bachelor” is over, and since ABC seems to be fine waiting on “Castle” until early next year, that only means one thing: A new “Bachelor Live” is on the air! This time around, we are getting a chance to see a bunch of people with similar names speak out about this season: Kris Jenner, Chris Soules, and Chris Harrison.

Let’s start here with Soules, who we gave a rather hard time to earlier this season for being the perfect example for Ben Higgins to follow in the premiere: This was a much better venue for him. He does have insight into how the process works, and he’s recent enough that casual viewers are going to remember him and his contestants. As for Jenner, we at least appreciated that for the first twenty minutes the Kardashians never really came up too much in the conversation. We’ll take a win where we can get it.

As a whole, we still feel like this show is significantly better than “After Paradise,” and for a number of different reasons. One of the things that we’re probably the happiest with is the sole fact that the show is giving us so many different different things, whether it be deleted scenes, funny moments, celebrity appearances (Kaley Cuoco, an actual big name!), and also some highlights from past seasons.

There was also some breaking news at the end of the show: Ali Fedotowsky is pregnant! Also, Tanner and Jade are getting married … and soon! They’re not even waiting for the next “Bachelor in Paradise” season to tie the knot.
