‘Legends of Tomorrow’ spoilers: New promo all about Dominic Purcell’s Heat Wave

There are several characters that we are excited to see on the upcoming DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” (premiering on The CW on January 21), but there are few that make us curious quite like Heat Wave. Dominic Purcell has been featured on a number of occasions on “The Flash,” but there has not really been an opportunity to get to know him so far. That will change on the new series.

The promo below is the latest in a series of feature videos that the show has released, and it gives you a little bit of a sense as to his personality. Mick is unpredictable, dangerous, and certainly not a hero no matter how you look at it. He’s more likely to burn down your house than rescue you from it.

Yet, at some point over the course of this first season, you may start to see a different, more heroic side to him, someone who wants to figure out how to open up and showcase a different side … or at least this is our hope. Maybe Heat Wave never becomes fully a good guy, but in order for him and Captain Cold a.k.a. Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller) to work with the other people in the cast, they’re going to have to show some sort of different side to their personality.

We don’t imagine that “Legends” is done revealing some of their character promos just yet; stay tuned, as we’re going to have more over the course of the week-plus ahead!
