Is ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 7, episode 13 new tonight on CBS?
Let us begin this “NCIS: Los Angeles” article with a simple-but-sad slice of news: There is no new episode airing on CBS, and we’re not entirely sure why this decision was made.
If we were programming the network, one thing that we’d consider in the future is cutting out one episode from the fall order or even ending the season a week earlier, and then putting in another installment in January. It feels to us like the show is missing out on a pretty great ratings opportunity here in January! There is no “Castle” or “Blindspot” airing tonight, and without this competition last week “NCIS: LA” drew a season high in the 18-49 demographic. It would be a chance to get some viewers hooked again to the point where maybe they decide not to watch one of the other shows live again over this, but alas, that is not the decision that has been made.
Just for the sake of giving you something to look forward to, here are some quick teases of the two upcoming January episodes to give you something to be excited about.
“Angels & Daemons” (January 18) – A tech entrepreneur is killed, which causes the team to really dive into some territory that maybe not all of them are familiar with. On the surface, it sounds almost like they may need fsociety from “Mr. Robot” to come in and lend a helping hand.
“Come Back” (January 25) – Kensi and Deeks tell the team that they are moving in together! It’s another great step for the pair’s relationship. (Can we have an engagement or something else soon?)

I love NCIS Los Angeles and also the rest of the other shows too. I like to see NCIS LA keep on going, all episodes and the next seasons and including all the other shows too. If there’s a new NCIS show around the United States in major cities anywhere. So I’ll enjoy all shows and everything else too.

CBS probably decided not to run a new episode tonight because the College Football National Championship game was on. I don’t know if this was a smart idea or not. While LA would have come on during the 2nd half of the game, I might have done it because there didn’t seem to be much competition from the other networks. We’ll see what the ratings are on Tuesday.
