“Legends of Tomorrow” is one of The CW’s most-anticipated shows of the new year, and with that it goes without saying that they will want to promote it at every chance they possibly can. The show had a big presence as a result of that at the TCA Winter Press Tour, with many of the cast and crew members turning up.
Speaking in a new interview with IGN, executive producer Greg Berlanti made one thing especially exciting clear, and that is that you are going to have a chance to see more of the “Arrow” and “Flash” throughout the season, but not necessarily something so substantial that there is another huge crossover event in the future:
“It’s intermittent throughout. It’s also because they’re a band of time traveling rogues as it were, it’s harder for Arrow and Flash to be connected storywise to it throughout the season … A primary reason why we were so excited and wanting to make this show is the group of actors playing these roles. The characters were really interesting to us, and we never felt like we had enough real estate and enough time on a regular basis on Flash and Arrow to delve into their lives and into their stories, and we really get to do that. … Hopefully the show is interesting and fun and dynamic for people that just show up.”
Before we make it to the end of this first season, hopefully we get at least a few fun cameos here and there. Vandal Savage is poised to be the Big Bad for the entire run of episodes, but there is still not an answer out there in regards to how his connection with Malcolm Merlyn, which led to his resurrection, will be addressed.
