‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6, episode 11 video: Emily questions her mom

We are mere days away from the winter premiere of “Pretty Little Liars,” and as you are going to discover rather quickly, quite a lot has transpired since we last saw the show. Not only have the lives changed for the core cast, the same goes for those close to them.

The sneak peek below featuring Emily (Shay Mitchell) is another sad reminder that things have changed for her rather dramatically since we last had a chance to check out the show. Her father has passed away, and while she seems rather intent on pushing her mother back into the dating pool, she does not seem to be nearly so interested in doing so. She claims that she is on “a break” with the latest person she was seeing.

While we have come to learn a few important things about Hanna, Spencer, and Aria’s time away from Rosewood, the past five years for Emily are still somewhat of a mystery. We know that Paige was involved at some point, but by the time she comes back to the town she is working as a bartender in a tropical locale. She may have some secrets that she wants to keep hidden, and the question that you should wonder for now is this: Are these secrets that could in one way or another impact the other characters? We’re going to find out in a few days.
