Monday night marks a new episode of “The Bachelor,” and with that we’re also going to have an all-new episode of “Bachelor Live.” So who’s set to join host Chris Harrison on the panel this time? It’s a collection of familiar faces, and then also someone who is coming back almost as a make-good over the summer.
We’re talking specifically here about Kris Jenner, who was scheduled to appear on “After Paradise” before having to back out at the last minute. She was replaced on that show with “Awkward” star Molly Tarlov. We never got the sense that there were any serious issues, and obviously this gig is mutually beneficial. Jenner gets the chance to talk about a show she likes and get some publicity, while ABC tries to get some of the Kardashian audience watching live. They may be divisive, but those who love them stand by them.
Also joining Harrison are (of course) “Bachelor” star Ben Higgins and then also former star Chris Soules, who has gotten quite a bit of face-time already this season. Soules has been working hard to keep in the spotlight since the show, but we haven’t really gotten a relationship update in a while. On this past edition of “Bachelor Live,” we learned that the woman he picked at the end of his season in Whitney Bischoff now has a new relationship.
We do imagine that the show will feature more callers, surprises, deleted scenes, and much more. It wasn’t a perfect show the first time around, but it did flow smoother and was more in line with the show’s tone than “After Paradise” ever was.
