‘The Bachelor’ twins Emily, Haley Ferguson not concerned about potential Ben Higgins drama

There are a number of immediately-memorable contestants on this season of “The Bachelor,” but it is pretty hard to deny that twins Emily and Haley Ferguson are anywhere but near the top of the list. These two ladies are great in confessionals, and while we have a hard time telling them apart still (we know Emily is the one pictured above), they seem to have some real interest and Ben Higgins based on what we’ve seen and aren’t just there to be token reality TV twins to go on to market themselves as that forever, which was our concern.

One thing that you should know soon, though, is that they are not entering this competition looking to eventually have some huge fight over the leading man. As a matter of fact, Haley told E! News during the show’s taping that if there’s a connection between one of them and Ben, the other will be happy to step aside:

“We’re just not very competitive … We have a mutual understanding of what’s going on here. So we discussed this before we even came on to meet Ben.”

While of course this is one of those things that is so much easier to say than it is to actually do, we ultimately do feel pretty strongly that this is something that we will have a chance to see the ladies commit to down the road. They both probably know each other so well and realize that there is ultimately no merit to them fighting intensely with each other over the course of the season. They’re still going to have the rest of their lives to be twins, and a relationship with Ben could ultimately still be fleeting. (Granted, we wonder if they would have this same perspective after a full season of reality TV brainwashing if they were both in the final two.)
