‘Legends of Tomorrow’ spoilers: Caity Lotz front and center as White Canary in new promo!

As we get closer to the premiere of “Legends of Tomorrow” on Thursday, January 21, we’re getting more and more of a chance to see how The CW is promoting the show. One of the ways in which they are doing so are by specifically focusing on some of the characters!

The video below gives you an extended look at Sara Lance a.k.a. White Canary (Caity Lotz), someone who has certainly went through the worst of times over the past few seasons of “Arrow.” She’s died, been revived through the Lazarus Pit, and struggled extensively with the notion of whether or not she can be anything more than a cold assassin. This show is going to allow her to step into the light (as Laurel tells her) and become a little bit more of a hero. She’s not even going to wear a mask and hide who she is! It’s a bold move.

Ultimately, we’re excited to see what Lotz gets the chance to do here now that she has a show where she can be a regular presence and a focus. There’s some humor in this sneak peek, but also a little bit of her kicking a little bit of butt. That’s what we love about the photo above; we like to think that she has just saved the day, and has a smile on her face about it.

We imagine that there will be some other cool promos about the over the next few days; we’ll have more coverage of them as they become available.
