‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6, episode 12 preview: Carol Burnett, Taryn Manning return!

What’s coming up on “Hawaii Five-0” next week? While tonight may have had a funny premise that included McGarrett and Danny heading off to a couples’ retreat, next week you are going to get a chance to see none other than a comedy icon stop by for a guest spot. Get ready for Carol Burnett! We’re thrilled that she is continually willing to be a part of this show, mostly because she’s at the point in her career when she can really do anything and everything that she wants.

This upcoming installment carries with it the title of “Ua ola loko i ke aloha,” and if you want to see some more news in terms of what to expect, just take a look at the official synopsis below right now:

“While McGarrett’s Aunt Deb visits Oahu on a special personal mission, Five-0 must uncover who stole unstable Japanese WWII bombs left hidden on the island, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Jan. 15 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.  Entertainment legend Carol Burnett returns as McGarrett’s Aunt Deb, and Taryn Manning returns as his sister, Mary.”

By the time you make it through this episode, we imagine that you are going to see a great deal of comedy and some memorable moments. However, at the same exact time we do think that there is more to this episode than that. It’s possible that with the World War II connection in here, there could be a very emotional undercurrent to the entire episode.
