‘Chicago PD’ season 3, episode 11 preview: Sophia Bush’s Lindsay in crisis

Chicago PD -We’re starting to think that it is the goal of NBC and Dick Wolf to give everyone a collective heart attack before next week rolls around. We’ve already seen that on the next new episode of “Law & Order: SVU” we’re going to see a situation that puts Olivia Benson in grave danger. Meanwhile, next week’s “Chicago PD” could do the same for Sophia Bush’s Erin Lindsay. The photo above shows her lending a helping hand to Halstead, but this time around she is going to be one of the people whose lives is truly on the line.

You can see the synopsis for the episode below, but we’d caution you that it really doesn’t do much to let you know what is really going on in the super-intense promo below:

“After a luxury condo is robbed, the team is shocked to learn that not only was the family fast asleep when the crime occurred, but their teenaged daughter was violated during the invasion as well. Voight (Jason Beghe) consults Jimmy (guest star Steven R. McQueen) from Firehouse 51 to confirm his suspicion that the family was knocked out by a powerful gas and Lindsay (Sophia Bush), Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) and Ruzek (Patrick Flueger) go undercover to seek out the perpetrators. Meanwhile, Voight tries to help a former acquaintance get back on his feet and Platt (Amy Morton) and Mouch (guest star Christian Stolte) receive disappointing news regarding their upcoming wedding.”

We obviously hope that everyone emerges from this okay, but we specifically worry with Lindsay every time she faces great trauma like this because of her history. We saw how she reacted to losing someone close to her last season; what happens if this happens again?
