‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Kandi Burruss, Todd Tucker welcome baby boy
Mrs. Carter: Kandi Burruss is a mother once more!
While we’ve seen her pregnancy story play out in the headlines and be a discussion point on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” so far this season, in real life the songwriter / music producer has just welcomed her second child, and her first with husband Todd Tucker. Per Us Weekly, the couple welcomed a baby boy early Wednesday, weight seven pounds and six ounces. Both the mother and child are in good shape.
Burruss and Tucker have certainly had quite a road to get to this point. The two first met when he was working as a line producer on the show, and they’ve since had a special all about their wedding and have continued to document their relationship on TV from that moment on. It’s probably an interesting situation for Tucker going from being a part of the production behind the scenes to someone who is part of the story, and it may give him somewhat of an inside track as to how everything works. This child gives the two something more to celebrate, and we imagine that we will hear more about this new addition on the show in future seasons. “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” remains one of the most-popular in the Bravo catalogue, with Kandi serving as one of the most-popular cast members. New episodes are continuing to air on Bravo Sunday night. (This real-life news certainly is better than watching some of the recent conflict on the show regarding Kandi and Porsha Williams.)
Like Burruss, Tucker also has a child from a previous relationship.
