‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Caila Quinn gets first one-on-one date from Ben Higgins

ABC is starting to announce some of the first details from Monday night’s second episode of “The Bachelor,” and that includes learning for certain who is getting the first one-on-one date of the season: Caila Quinn. She showed a lot of fun and enthusiasm on the first episode, and this time around she’ll get a chance to show off more of that spark alongside two very funny people in Ice Cube and Kevin Hart.

“Caila receives the coveted first one-on-one date, and it is one she won’t forget. Chartbusting rapper Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, one of comedy’s biggest stars – both starring in the upcoming sequel “Ride Along 2,” in theaters nationwide on January 15 – help Ben find love as they see fit. On one hilarious date, the superstars treat the couple to “a date on a budget” – and in typical Bachelor fashion, a dip in a hot tub – that just happens to be in the middle of a hot tub store showroom floor. Later that evening, Ben surprises Caila with a VIP private concert by singer/songwriter Amos Lee.”

Yes, it is annoying that this entire date seems mostly designed so that people go see a movie; yet, at the same time, the “date on a budget” is oddly reminiscent of when Jimmy Kimmel made Chris Soules and Kaitlyn Bristowe go to Costco on their date. We’re always down for the non-traditional “Bachelor” date so long as it is funny, and the people involved are game to do it. Luckily, Caila seems like the sort of person who could be down for it.
