‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 spoilers: Gregory casting official

twdThe rumors are in fact true: Gregory is coming to “The Walking Dead” season 6, and to go along with that will more than likely be the Hilltop Colony.

According to TVLine, Xander Berkeley of “24,” “Zoo,” and many other things is set to officially play this part, who will be hugely important to almost everything that happens when it comes to Negan. We’re not going to spoil too much else from the comics, but his role should be pretty integral in getting us from point A to point B.

What we feel is that the second half of season 6 is going to work especially hard at expanding the universe slightly beyond Alexandria, while still keeping that town around as somewhat of a core. We’ll get a chance to see if there can be any sort of larger government, or if everything will be torn asunder by ego, anger, and everything else that tends to exist in this broken-up, complicated world.

The second half of season 6 will premiere starting on February 14 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. Unfortunately, there is no particular word at the moment as to when we’re going to be getting a chance to see more of Xander in action on the show. It could be as early as one of the first few episodes or as late as one of the final ones of the run. While Negan is poised to be a major part of season 7, there is no word just yet on how much of this character we’re going to have moving further into the future.
