‘Bachelor Live’ spoilers: Kaitlyn Bristowe, Shawn Booth, Ben Higgins join Chris Harrison for premiere

LogoIn an effort to clearly mix things up a little bit, and also see whether or not the aftershow format works with “The Bachelor” much in the way that it has with “Bachelor in Paradise,” ABC is not airing “Castle” after the premiere of the reality show Monday night. Instead, we’re going to transition into “Bachelor Live,” an aftershow hosted by Chris Harrison that will focus on certain events from the premiere … and could also prove to be rather colorful if someone curses on live TV like JJ did during “After Paradise.”

So who are the first guests? As Harrison himself announced on Twitter Sunday, we’re going to see a rather who’s-who of show personalities. Not only is Ben Higgins going to be present to talk about his first night in the house, but so will the woman who at one point broke his heart in Kaitlyn Bristowe and her fiance Shawn Booth. Let’s hope that Ben found someone at the end of the show, since otherwise that may be like that one night Ben described where he was hanging out with the two during “The Bachelorette” and feeling like the obvious third wheel. (We’re being facetious here, so don’t think otherwise!)

Also joining Kaitlyn and Shawn are “Orange is the New Black” actress Lauren Lapkus and famed screenwriter Diablo Cody. It’s a rather eclectic mix, but one we like since you’re bringing a wide array of different personalities to the table. Also, it doesn’t just feel like ABC is desperately clinging to promoting its own properties, which caused them a little bit of trouble with “After Paradise.”
