‘Teen Wolf’ season 5 spoilers: Holland Roden teases Lydia’s upcoming struggle
For anyone out there who likes the Lydia character on “Teen Wolf,” the good news is that moving forward, she’s going to be more and more of a powerful force. What’s the downside? It revolves more around what she is going to have to do to get to that point.
As Holland Roden tells TV Guide in a new interview teasing her upcoming arc, Lydia improving her powers within the walls of Eichen House is not something that is to be taken lightly. It’s going to cause the character a whole lot of pain just to see if she can make it to the other side:
“Amplified [powers] in Lydia’s case means she has to go through a lot of pain. She doesn’t get to have fun with her powers … “The more she gets grounded the more they have to contain her in some small, cold, often not very clean room. She’s constantly sweating and crying and trying to figure out why she’s locked in this room, [but] she’s very much the central piece of the puzzle [in the second half of the season].”
We certainly know that in this second half, the characters are going to be up against some of their biggest threats to date. Not only will Scott McCall still be trying to fend off Theo following everything that he did in the first half, but you also cannot forget about the Beast, a dangerous new villain who has the capacity to cause a great deal of harm to anyone who gets in its way.
