‘Major Crimes’ season 4 spoilers: Show boss teases sprawling investigation

Major Crimes -

The fourth season of “Major Crimes” went on hiatus just a little over a week ago, but we like to think that there is no need to wait around to find out some further information regarding what is going to be coming up in the final five episodes of the season. These will begin on February 15, and you will see a single case dominate the story as we go from one episode to the next.

Want some more specifics? Well, we’re here with some further details via TV Guide. The main mystery is going to bring a cold case to light, one that involves a Deputy District Attorney and an off-duty police officer being killed. Here is what executive producer James Duff had to say about it:

“It’s all one giant, sprawling investigation … The mystery is knotty and difficult to unravel. Murder is pretty black and white, but there’s a lot of gray around it.”

Just in case you were wondering if there will be a personal story to go along with this investigation, have no fear. We’re also going to see Sharon confronted with a key decision about her future and her career that she will have to contend with. It’s clear that she is incredible at her career, we may be getting to the point now where she starts to wonder if there are some other exciting avenues out there in her career. These are things that should be interesting to explore over the course of the episodes ahead as she considers whatever this decision may be.
