‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ 2016: Who did Jenny McCarthy kiss at midnight?

In the years that we have been covering various New Year’s Eve festivities here at CarterMatt, one question has always reigned supreme: Who will Jenny McCarthy kiss at midnight?

For quite some time on “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” McCarthy did her best to hype this up as a mystery, and there were even polls at times to get the audience involved. However, things have changed in recent years thanks to the fact that she is now married to Donnie Wahlberg. The “Blue Bloods” star has joined her at midnight for many years, and she did so yet again here. It’s a sweet moment for them in order to kick off the new year, and our happiness for them does supersede our previous need to be surprised.

Before planting the big kiss, McCarthy claimed that more than anything else, her goal for 2016 was “peace,” something that many people all around the world can probably agree with. This was a crazy year, and this is the best time for all of us to start to look ahead and hope for some easier times coming up in the future.
