‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams, and an epic argument

One way or another, there always appears to be conflict on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and it certainly feels as though either Porsha Williams or Kenya Moore are involved in the vast majority of it. In this case, though, we’re talking mostly about the former.

While there are a few dramatic moments in the promo below (such as Phaedra Parks and Todd Tucker finally sitting down after all of the Don Juan nonsense from this past episode), the biggest moment comes at the end where Kandi Burruss unloads on Porsha. It’s not entirely clear just how we got to this point, but it may be Porsha’s role in the Don Juan situation that led us down the road.

The synopsis below, as per usual, gives you the dish on the entire episode … and of course it is at some sort of public event meant to be a celebration where most of the fighting takes place:

“Kenya continues to build her future dream home and discovers her family relationships are also in need of some construction as well. Porsha heads to Los Angeles to cover an awards show for Dish Nation, but will conflict with her sister Lauren compromise her performance on the red carpet? Kandi gets the tea about Don Juan’s run-in with Phaedra and Porsha leaving her skeptical of her mended friendship with Phaedra. To celebrate the success of her eyewear line, Cynthia hosts a customer appreciation event where drama erupts between Porsha and Kandi.”

Sometimes we wonder whether events are created just because there will be fighting, but that’s just the conspiracy junkie in us. One thing that is still missing in action, sadly, is Kim Fields. Where in the world did she go?
