Do you dig Netflix’s “Daredevil“? It’s pretty easy to, given that the first season brought some of the most compelling superhero storytelling of anything that we’ve seen in some time. It was of course action-packed and intense, but Charlie Cox also proved himself quickly to be one of the most compelling leads in recent memory for the genre.
So where are we going moving into season 2? We’ve of course heard plenty about the arrival of The Punisher already, and our general sentiment is that these two characters are going to clash over ideology (among other things) throughout the episodes that are coming up.
Unfortunately, the new photo we have above via Netflix doesn’t really give away much, even though it is one of the first official images that has been released so far. Consider this the beginning of what is probably going to be a longer promotional push that lasts over the course of the coming weeks. We expect more trailers and teasers to come, and a premiere date will probably follow not long after that.
“Daredevil” is now a part of what is a stellar Netflix lineup for the first half of 2016; not only do they have newcomer “Fuller House,” but also the return of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” “House of Cards,” and eventually “Orange is the New Black” more than likely in June. There are some other releases in addition to these, and we figure they will give people plenty to binge-watch to the extent that they don’t need much else.
