‘Legends of Tomorrow’ spoilers: New promo full of action, one-liners galore

We’ve got another new promo for DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” below, and with this one, we’re asking about what we think is starting to become a common thread in many of the videos we have seen so far: Are we on the way to seeing Sara Lance get more of the main-character treatment on the show?

Marketing-wise, it feels like Caity Lotz has been front and center in almost every promo, and this may be a smart move. Out of the heroes on the show she’s been around the longest in the “Arrow” / “The Flash” universe, and more than likely has the biggest following to go along with that. Also, it helps to give you another female crime-fighter to root for since other than “Supergirl” and “Jessica Jones,” the genre is still lacking some of these.

Over time, we imagine that we’re going to get opportunities to love many of the other characters, as well. We’ve already got a love for Ray Palmer, and the promo has one of the best Captain Cold lines we’ve seen to date. The people who really will benefit the most from this show coming out are Heat Wave, Jax, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, and Rip Hunter. These are characters who haven’t had a lot of face time yet on other shows; in the sake of Rip Hunter, he hasn’t appeared at all on either “Arrow” or “The Flash.” This will be a complete introduction for him.

The premiere of “Legends of Tomorrow” is going to air on The CW on Thursday, January 21 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. We imagine we’ll have more news on the show before it airs!
