‘Chicago Med’ video: Another wrinkle in ‘Chicago Fire’ – ‘Chicago PD’ crossover

Waiting is tough, and we certainly understand if some out there are feeling a little bit of the burn. The upcoming crossover event with “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med,” and “Chicago PD” is not airing until January 5, and it is only human nature to want something more now!

Well, we do at least have a new “Chicago Med” teaser video for you below (courtesy of TV Guide) that does a very good job setting the stage for what will be the “Chicago PD” story in the third part of the event. Dr. Jay Halstead is beginning to realize that a supposed suicide attempt by a patient has a few key pieces of information that don’t quite add up. With this in mind, Intelligence and Voight are eventually going to get involved, and look to start investigating a doctor who could be poisoning some of his patients intentionally with large overdoses of chemotherapy medication.

The one thing that this preview really teaches us more so than anything else is that the three shows may not necessarily be that connected by a single storyline involve Herrmann’s condition. It’s possible that they are, but it seems more likely now that his injuries will go from “Chicago Fire” over to “Chicago Med,” and then the suicide case from this show moves into “Chicago PD.” It’s almost like a crossover chain reaction.

As soon as we do have more information about the crossover and what lies on the other side, we’ll have it for you here at the site! Stay tuned.
