‘The Bachelor’ spotlight: Will Lauren Bushnell have Ben Higgins’ heart a-flutter?
As we’ve mentioned, there are many Laurens who are appearing on this season of “The Bachelor,” and with that in mind it is going to be very difficult for many of them to stand out. Could Lauren Bushnell be the one who catches Ben Higgins’ eye?
What we will say about her is that she does have an interesting job, seems to be fairly adventurous, and understands the simple things in life like a home-cooked meal and also showing your partner that you love them and care for them.
Age – 25
Occupation – Flight attendant. There’s obviously a heavy travel component to the job, but at least she’ll have good stories!
Hometown – Marina del Rey, California. With that being said, her Instagram page suggests that she is originally from Portland, Oregon.
Things to know – She’s a flight attendant specifically for Alaska Airlines, she loves the beach, and she, like many other women this season, loves to take pictures of herself out with her friends to then post on social media.
Strengths – She’s going to be very patient. You pretty much have to be with this profession since it’s virtually a thankless job. She comes across as rather bubbly, and what really impresses us about her bio is that she communicates well how she will be a good person for Ben, and not just that she will. She seems to be a person of action.
Problem areas – Our big fear with Lauren is that she’s a young woman living in California who seems fond of sharing her life on social media. Even with a good job, there’s always the fear that she is looking tor attention from the show. Also, the job itself could be a worry to Ben given that it would mean she would spend stretches of time away. This is a sort of job people have to be okay with.
Prediction – We go either way with Lauren. We think she’ll last a while, but she will either be the sort of person Ben falls for because of her personality, or will be wary of in the end for one reason or another. She’s probably going to be a player this season, but we could see heartbreak in the stretch run.
