‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 7 spoilers: First look at ‘Angels & Daemons’
Either someone at “NCIS: Los Angeles” really loves Dan Brown novels, or they just wanted to come up with a title for an upcoming episode that reminds everyone about internet security. Ultimately, we feel like this is why they chose “Angels & Daemons” as the name for the upcoming January 18 installment of the show.
As is their recent tradition, unfortunately for some reason CBS is choosing not to release many details about what is befalling the individual characters. However, the synopsis below will at least give you a little more insight in regards to the story:
“The team investigates the murder of tech entrepreneur turned venture capitalist who secretly developed a daemon, a background computer program that allows for undetectable data collection.”
Wouldn’t it be great if they gave you at least something when it comes to Sam, Callen, Deeks, Kensi, Nell, or someone else on the show? We like to think so, but for whatever reason we’re left in the lurch. Just know that with more than half the season still to come, there will be plenty of opportunities to dive more into some of these stories.
“Angels & Daemons” is the second episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” of the new year. The show will return on January 4, but for some inexplicable reason is taking a week off in between the two episodes. We’re not entirely sure what the logic there is, mostly because it seems a little more sensible to just wait and give you the two episodes consecutively to avoid the delay.

I don’t know how low CBS is willing to accept in terms of ratings in order to renew NCIS:LA for next season. If the show only averages a 1.3 for 22 episodes, will CBS bring it back? Some people say it will come back no matter what, just like Blue Bloods. Blindspot has been crushing both CASTLE and NCIS:LA this season. CASTLE really looks like it will be cancelled at the end of the season unless there is a miracle. Does NCIS:LA need to be moved? It is starting to look that way.
