‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’: David Foster defends Yolanda after disease allegations

The tabloids have a tendency to get rather bored this time of year, which is why more often than not, you start to see a series of increasingly ridiculous stories floating around about various subjects. This time, one of the bigger ones has been about whether or not Yolanda Foster has really been battling Lyme disease; this may even be something that is a central theme on Tuesday night’s new “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” episode.

With that in mind, it really should not come as a shock that Yolanda’s soon-to-be-ex-husband David Foster chose now to release a statement (per Us Weekly) defending her, making it clear that while the two may be splitting, they are still clearly on the same page:

“I have always had and continue to have the utmost respect and love for Yolanda, which is why it is so frustrating to see headlines questioning her chronic debilitating illness … I have been by Yolanda’s side over the past four years to the best of my ability as she battled with the complexities of her Lyme diagnosis.”

Hopefully this helps to air her in the battle against many of these terrible rumors, especially since we figure that there will be more of these spread over the next few weeks as the tabloids try to spread their vitriol in a more and more heated fashion. If such a possibility is raised on the Bravo series, we know from many past installments that it will continue to spiral and spiral until everyone starts to scream about it at the reunion.
