Is ‘Supergirl’ episode 9 new tonight on CBS? New look at ‘Blood Bonds’

Over the past several weeks, we have had the luxury of being able to share many different stories and teasers for upcoming “Supergirl” episodes, with one of the biggest reasons why being that there were so many episodes airing consecutively following the show’s premiere in October. Unfortunately for most fans of the series, that streak is now coming to an end. There is no new episode tonight on CBS, and there will not be another until we get around to “Blood Bonds” coming on Monday, January 4.

With that being said, though, this is not stopping us from sharing a new photo sneak peek! This shows none other than Astra being carted through the DUO, seemingly without any sort of harm or incident. As for whether or not this will permanently be the caste, that remains to be seen. We should just make it clear that we are personally very much worried for everyone even still, given that Non is still out there, and he cannot be loving the fact that she is locked away.

There is probably more than meets the eye still with this story, but we have to be patient while we wait and see what most of it is. For now, though, all we’ll say is to get ready for a second part of the season that is more action-packed than the first, given that we have more heroes in the mix (including Martian Manhunter), and even more villains along the way including Winn’s father and the Silver Banshee, who will be played by Italia Ricci in one of her first roles since the cancellation of “Chasing Life.”
