‘The Bachelor’ spotlight: Will Jessica Moser stand out to Ben Higgins in crowded field?

Jessica -When it comes to profiling contenders for “The Bachelor,” there is one thing that you should really hope for above all else: Someone who seems to be fairly normal, has a real family, and does things that are akin to what normal people do. More often than not, the person who wins the show is not someone who has preexisting fame on TV, has been on another season, or has some terrible gimmick like showing up on the first night in costume.

With all of this being said, Jessica Moser could go far this season. She could also be one of the first out. She’s not going to be someone kept in the competition because the producers want entertainment. It’ll all be about whether or not Ben Higgins likes her.

Age – 23

Occupation – Accountant. She went to school at the University of Central Florida, and claims that one of her proudest achievements was passing all parts of the CPA exam in six months.

Hometown – Boca Raton, Florida. She’s from a similar neck of the woods as Jennifer Saviano, who we profiled yesterday.

Things to know – She comes across as fairly down-to-earth, with broad tastes, and an interest in finding the right partner for her life. There’s not that much information about her online, but we think of that more as a good thing in her case. Sometimes being 23 and having a huge backlog of information can be a red flag.

Strengths – First and foremost, she’s got a great job that is not beholden to her staying in Florida. She enjoys both hot and cold weather, so in the event that she and Ben decide to go somewhere a little away from the coast, she’ll handle it just fine. It seems like she loves her family, and has more or less the same outlook on life that he does.

Problem areas – She comes across as mature and ready for love, but the issue is that there are over two dozen women on the season! We’re not sure how assertive a person she is, so trying to stand out the first couple of episodes could be very difficult for her. Also, production may not find her such a huge character that they’re willing to give her another chance.

Prediction – We want to think that Jessica will stick around for at least a little while, mostly because there’s nothing on the surface here that screams “get rid of her immediately.” However, a very high percentage of the women we profile are going to be gone before we even get to know them. Anything’s possible.
