‘Supernatural’ season 11 spoilers: Jared Padalecki, cast wrap up filming for 2015

“Supernatural” viewers officially began their hiatus for the year last week with an intense episode featuring Amara, Dean, Lucifer, and so much more. As far as the cast goes, they’re now joining us in being on break.

As Jared Padalecki confirmed in the new post on Twitter (see below), he is wrapped up for the year! Most TV series across the spectrum have already ended work for the year or are ending today, which means that they all get a little bit of much-deserved time to rest and recharge before going back to work in the new year.

For “Supernatural,” there’s still clearly plenty of work to be done. Over half of the season 11 episodes are still to air, and with Amara physically present and more than willing to exhibit her power, the Winchesters have their work cut out for them. (Granted, Sam’s still gotta figure out a way to get out of that cage.) New episodes will begin airing on The CW once more on Wednesday, January 20, and we feel like those will air in a pretty hefty block before we get around to the end of February / early March. Then, we’ll probably get another hiatus of some sort before we then come back in April to finish things off. At least this is the familiar pattern for this and many other shows on the network.
