‘The Bachelor’ spotlight: Is Jennifer Saviano excited to meet Ben Higgins?
There are “Bachelor” contestants excited to be a part of the competition, and then there is Jennifer Saviano. She uses so many exclamation points in her bio that you want to imagine that she’s shouting most of it. She’s certainly one of the more enthusiastic women this season, she’s already very interested seemingly in Ben Higgins, and he seems to have a good sense of humor about herself.
Will any of this matter in the house? That’s hard to say, but let’s give you a brief low-down on her as a part of our daily spotlight series.
Age – 25
Occupation – Small business owner. Specifically, she runs a boutique called Hot Pink Hanger.
Hometown – Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Add her to the list of women this season who love the beach.
Things to know – She’s one of the few women we’ve profiled to name-drop Ben in the bio (when discussing the perfect guy), she loves country music, and she gives this answer when asked if she could be any animal, which she would choose: “Dolphin! They are beautiful, intelligent and are the only mammals to have sex for pleasure!” Yes, humans are also technically mammals, but if that’s what you are focusing on here, you’re probably missing the point that this is a heck of a bold answer for a show owned by Disney.
Strengths – She does have that aforementioned enthusiasm and an immediate interest in Ben, but he may also gravitate to the fact that she already has a good job, and one that she in theory could do anywhere. We don’t really get a sense of what any of her specific passions are, but she doesn’t seen incompatible to him.
Problem areas – Maybe she’s too enthusiastic, or maybe she’s too bold? We’re not sure, but given that Ben was on Kaitlyn’s season he is probably fine with bold. Our big concern for her here is mostly that she could get lost in the shuffle with a lot of other contestants with her same age range and not a lot of distinctive characteristics other than a dolphin answer he won’t know about.
Prediction – We could see Jennifer being a contender. There aren’t any noticeable red flags, and she seems ready to get into a relationship be married. Obviously, we’ll have to see how that translates to TV.
