‘Fuller House’: Netflix releases first teaser video, announces premiere date
Be prepared for an avalanche of nostalgia courtesy of the video below: “Fuller House” is almost here. Netflix announced today that the series is going to stream its entire first season on February 26, which is glorious news for anyone who wants to return back to San Francisco and see a whole new chapter in the life of D.J. Tanner.
What is interesting to us about this is that for the most part, the video doesn’t even try to be funny. It instead mostly exists for the purpose of introducing once again to the world, and most notable the same exact house. We had no idea that the show would be featuring the same exact location, but we suppose that part of the charm really does revolve around throwing you right back into the same place.
The premise of the revival is that D.J. is looking for a way to properly raise her three sons, and as a result of that calls upon her sister Stephanie and friend Kimmy Gibbler. These three are meant to be the stars of the show, though Dave Coulier, Bob Saget, and John Stamos will be turning in appearances at some point during the first season. Sadly, there are no cameos from the Olsen Twins for now, but it is to be seen whether or not that changes at any point in the future. The show could easily get a second season, depending of course on if it matches some of the popularity and the expectations that we have for it.
We’ll have some further news when it comes to “Fuller House” as they become announced; stay tuned!
