NBC’s ‘The Voice’ finale: Barrett Baber – Jordan Smith – Emily Ann Roberts song spoilers!

VoiceFor those wondering what all of the contestants on “The Voice” are going to be performing for the big finale on Monday night, and the news is here. Wait no further! If you look below, you can see via iTunes everything that the contestants are doing both on their own, and with the help of a coach. Sadly, there don’t seem to be any original songs in here, which is a bummer since we really dug it when the show did this in the past.

Before we get into the non-holiday music here, let’s start by sharing the Christmas songs!

Jordan Smith, “Mary Did You Know” – We’ve seen religious anthems be big sellers on iTunes, so it makes sense for Jordan to go with a holiday track that specifically revolves around the birth of Jesus.

Barrett Baber, “Silent Night” – It’s interesting; while the lyrics to this song are equally religious, the song itself is thought of as much more mainstream.

Emily Ann Roberts, “Blue Christmas” – Cheers to Emily for at least singing the one Christmas song that’s not like the others.

Jeffery Austin, “O Holy Night” – This may be the most vocally challenging of the group, but we know that Jeffery can pull it off.

Now, let’s get to the inevitable coach duets, which rarely ever turn out to be that memorable.

Jordan with Adam Levine, “God Only Knows” – Hey, Jordan is doing something kinda-uptempo! This is smart, since we had no idea how in the world these two guys were going to be performing almost anything that made sense.

Jeffery with Gwen Stefani, “Leather and Lace” – It’s strange, but after hearing the preview on iTunes, we do think that this could work.

Emily with Blake Shelton, “Islands in the Stream” – Old-school country makes so much sense for Emily. Can’t go wrong here.

Barrett with Blake Shelton, “Rhinestone Cowboy” – We don’t love this track as much for Barrett as we do Emily’s with Blake, maybe because the original seems to us so set in an individual place and time.

Finally, we turn to the “regular” performances.

Jordan, “Climb Every Mountain” – Seriously? From “The Sound of Music”? If we were Jordan we would’ve stayed far away from musical theater, even though he’s almost a lock to win anyway.

Emily, “Burning House” – We’re not huge country fans, but Emily probably wins the song-choice battle for the finale. She’s got some old-school hits, and this song is decidedly contemporary.

Jeffery, “Stay” – Who would’ve predicted Jeffery playing into the country crowd? This is not the Rihanna song; instead, it’s the track from Sugarland.

Barrett, “Die a Happy Man” – It’s almost entirely what we expected from Barrett, but isn’t this what his fans want?
