‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 spoilers: Will Merida, Arthur, Guinevere return?
For those of you who enjoyed seeing a certain stable of recurring characters on “Once Upon a Time” season 5, here’s the good news: They’re not vanishing from the show now just because the first half of the season is done.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, you are going to get a chance to see a certain “Brave” star in Merida once more. Not only that, but there will also be some other notable returning faces including King Arthur and Guinevere. We understand neither one of them being the most popular characters in the history of the show, but at the same time, we’d be upset if their story ended where we are right now … mostly because it is so incomplete. The show fell a little victim to bringing back too many people at one time, and with that it is somewhat interesting that we are now also going to be adding some other people to the mix, including the return of Cruella, Cora, and a mysterious entity known as the Distinguished Gentleman. Is he Hades? It’s a little too early to know for sure, but we are very curious to find out.
The second part of the third season will premiere starting on Sunday, March 6, and it seemed like the majority of the people the showrunners wanted back are going to show up. Of course, the one cameo that remains elusive is Jamie Dornan, who now of course is incredibly busy in between “Fifty Shades of Grey” and “The Fall.”
As we get closer to the second part of the season, stay tuned for more news!
