‘The Originals’ season 3, episode 10 preview: What’s next after big Joseph Morgan – Leah Pipes shocker?

Thursday night’s winter finale of “The Originals” made it very clear that this season, the show is holding next to nothing back. They either made potentially a big move or set everyone up for quite a trick by “killing off” Cami, which we’re putting in quotes at the moment because we have no idea if it will stick.

Based on the promo below for the show’s return on Friday, January 29, there is one thing that we do know with some confidence: Klaus’ attempt at retribution will be quick, and the Strix better be worried. He’s got some family members in on the act, and he is back to being violent, angry, and unhinged. In other words, he is everything that fans of the show like, except that it came at such a great cost.

The reason why we are so bummed over the loss of Cami at the moment is that the show really put in the work with this relationship, and gave Joseph Morgan’s character someone who was in many ways a therapist for him. She understood him properly more than any human has in centuries, and the two became close over time rather than having it happen in a day. There’s still hope, but we don’t know if it is anything more than a sliver.

Speaking of slivers of hope, we are almost begging viewers to continue to check out this show live, if for no other reason than that the move to Friday nights could be difficult. There are fewer eyeballs available, and the audience for this series is a crowd that typically does have other things to do on the night.
