‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ episode 10 preview: ‘She Gets Revenge’ closes out 2015

“American Horror Story: Hotel” may not have completely ended its losing streak on Wednesday night with “She Wants Revenge,” it did start to get things going in the right direction again. We did start to cut down on the backstory and propel us more into the present. The Countess executed part of her plan against Will Drake, and we finally got an update on those kids from the second part of the Halloween episode!

Next week’s episode is entitled “She Gets Revenge,” and it serves as the last episode until the series returns in January. The synopsis below, via SpoilerTV, offers up at least some insight into how some of these characters are going to handle their new situations:

“Alex enlists John’s help in containing an outbreak. Donovan learns The Countess’ true intentions. Liz and Iris plan to leave the hotel for good.”

We suppose that ultimately, the real question that you should be pondering after reading something like this is just who the “she” in the title is a reference to. Sure, there are people the Countess wants revenge over, but she has even more enemies than the other way around. For example, Ramona is still alive, Iris would like to take her out of commission, and Liz Taylor has made her own thoughts over her clear after what transpired with Tristan. We don’t see the Countess going away in this episode, but we almost hope that the show is not setting things up where she gets away with everything without some sort of consequence.
