‘Criminal Minds’ season 11 winter finale preview: Another look at ‘Future Perfect’

On Wednesday night “Criminal Minds” is going to be going off the air for the rest of 2015, but before we get around to that, we have a sneak peek below that gives you quite a bit of news about what we’re dealing with in “Future Perfect.” We are heading to the middle of Florida, and a place where some terrible events have taken place that prompt the presence of the BAU.

Here is the rub: Given that this is the midseason finale, couldn’t we have something that was a little more descriptive, or at least a little more based around the story of one of the supporting characters? This unfortunately does not give away much information at all, and it instead leaves us to speculate with question marks over our head what is going to be coming up next.

This is a show that could benefit from something shocking taking place, whether it be the capture of an important character, a near-death experience, or simply an UnSub who is extremely hard for the group to take down.

Following this episode, our guess is that the show will return to the air in January; the primary reason that it is not on the air any longer than it is simply has to do with the fact that there is a two-hour “Survivor” finale plus a live reunion show airing in just over a week. It’s the same thing that happens every season at this point.
