‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12: Jessica Capshaw expecting fourth child

Mrs. Carter: There is yet another child being welcomed into the “Grey’s Anatomy” family!

In a post today on her Instagram, actress Jessica Capshaw confirmed that she and husband Christopher Gavigan are expecting their fourth child together. She also included the following caption to go along with it:

“The holidays have certainly arrived…All of our lives are being added to by the lights, music and the cheer!! This year our family has reason to further broaden our smile…baby number four is on the way!! I am a lucky, lucky girl…”

This is tremendous news for Capshaw, and it has to be a rather nice gift to be able to announce the news this holiday season! She can now sit back and try to enjoy the rest of this time with her family, at least in between some of her duties on the hit ABC show.

For those wondering, we’re sure that there will be a plan in place for how to take proper care of the pregnancy on “Grey’s Anatomy,” as this is something that the show has taken care of with both Capshaw, Sarah Drew, and many others in the past. Shonda Rhimes’ entire Shondaland banner has welcomed many children over the years, and in that sense this has to be a nice set because there are so many different people with families.

New episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy” will begin once more in February, and you can head over here to read some more news all about it! Once again, the deepest congratulations to Capshaw and her family!
