‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 9 video: Extent ‘Dark Waters’ trailer features Damien Darhk carnage

In the previous promo for the “Arrow” season 4 midseason finale entitled “Dark Waters,” it certainly appeared clear that Felicity Smoak was in danger. However, the new, extended trailer below makes it clear that there are a wide variety of different candidates who fall into Damien Darhk’s hands.

The first thing that intrigues us so here is that these seem to be more attacks on Oliver Queen and what he represents than attacks on the Green Arrow. Darhk does not like the fact that someone could be elected to public office who does not share his ideals, and is not that interested in helping him. This means that he has to intimidate him out of the race for Mayor.

The problem? Oliver is not easily intimidated, and this leads to a showdown where Felicity, Thea, and others could be in danger, and unfortunately for Oliver, Barry is a little preoccupied in Central City. He’s going to have to figure out a way to help his friends and neutralize HIVE in any way that he can.

The one other twist that we’ll say is worth watching right now is the idea potentially that someone could die. Is it possible? Sure, but we don’t think we’re losing a series regular. Not enough time has passed for us to be at the grave just yet with Barry, and we know based on information out there that there is more story specifically to come for Felicity. The same could go for her mother.
