‘Girl Meets World’ season 3 work begins as season 2 winds down

Girl Meets World -

This past Friday gave us the end of “Girl Meets World” in 2015 with an episode entitled “Girl Meets the New Year,” and that was one that really blew the entire relationship between Riley, Lucas, and Maya out into the open. The fact that you have to wait until January for more of that story is pretty painful.

Is there anything that we can do to help make matters easier? Then how about news that work on season 3 has officially begun for the show’s writing staff! The team confirmed this in a post on Twitter! There are many stories still to be told, and with the recent renewal the opportunity is there to tell some great stuff over the course of the year ahead! The show will likely start filming at some point within the first few months of 2016; there is no premiere date yet, but we’ll let you know once that comes out.

The reality here is still that we do have more episodes to go in season 2, and that is something that the writers are also quick to point out on social media. One of them is going to feature a cameo appearance from “Shark Tank” star Mark Cuban, whose gig was first announced earlier this year. Meanwhile, another will focus on the gang moving forward into high school, where they can prepare for their next chapter in taking on the world.

While the show may be done airing episodes in 2015, hopefully we will have some more news on the stories ahead in due time. Stay tuned!
