‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5, episode 11 video: Regina’s message to Hook

Sunday’s winter finale for “Once Upon a Time” is just about here, and while there are many things that you can expect to see over the course of the hour it is on the air, the biggest one is rather simple: A story that could test Captain Hook like never before, and put him in a precarious position.

The sneak peek below is a perfect little teaser for what you can expect to see from this character, as he is left to ponder up in the past a new mission handed over by Regina. Could this be traced to his father? It’s possible. It’s fascinating mostly to see the early interactions between these two characters, knowing full well what their dynamic will become down the road. It’s also interesting that he will become intertwined with the one person who destroyed the illusion of Storybrooke in Emma Swan.

In the present, we’re going to see the characters dealing with a Hook stricken with greater darkness as he looks to unleash the forces of the Underwood on Storybrooke. The Dark Ones all have the collective mission to extinguish all that is good from the world, while he is strictly out for Rumpelstiltskin’s blood. We’re not sure that he is ultimately in a position to think too much about the greater actions of those he has summed. He wants what he wants, and everyone will deal with the consequences.
