‘Legends of Tomorrow’ poster brings you Hawkman, Hawkgirl, White Canary, and more

Now that the January 21 premiere date has been confirmed for DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow,” we figure that the promotional tour will be beginning in a way that it has not until now. This includes giving us the first poster for the team-up spin-off, which you can see below.

First and foremost, there are a few costume changes in between the first photo for the spin-off above, and the one that we’ve got below. For one, there’s not such a divide between the good guys and the bad guys, and you’ve also got both Hawkman and Hawkgirl in their full costumes. (Previously, Kendra Saunders was in street clothes for the original photo, while Carter Hall was not present at all.) There’s also a slight alteration for White Canary, as she is battling here sans the long sleeves and the gloves. You’ve also got Jefferson Jackson decked out as Firestorm; in the previous poster, the role of Franz Drameh on the show had not been confirmed just yet.

While you’ve gotten to know all of these characters in one way or another other than Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), you’ll get so much more of an opportunity next month as we see these people all team up with the goal of stopping Vandal Savage in his tracks. While the character appeared at first to be dead in “Legends of Yesterday,” Malcolm Merlyn cast a spell to bring him back to life in the closing seconds. We don’t know the precise motive for it just yet, but this is something that certainly has to be considered as something to remember.

Now, let’s just hope that this story meets the expectations that everyone has for it.
