‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’: Yolanda, David Foster reportedly divorcing
Mrs. Carter: Bad news — and also bad timing.
On the same night that the new season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is premiering on Bravo, it has been announced that cast member Yolanda Foster and her husband, prolific music producer David Foster, are getting a divorce after four years of marriage. This is the second marriage for Yolanda (who has three daughters, included famous model Gigi Hadid), and the fourth for David.
In a joint statement first released by People Magazine, the two parties had the following to say:
“Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways … We’ve shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues.”
It is easy to ascribe a variety of different meanings and speculation as to what happened in the marriage, especially when it comes to the longstanding history of divorces when it comes to people on “The Real Housewives” franchise. With that being said, there are also many examples of relationships that have stuck together even with Bravo’s cameras rolling, and you never know what would have happened if the cameras were not there. In the end, it is best to describe this merely as another celebrity couple who unfortunately could not work it out.
It is unclear if this split will be covered on the rest of this season, mostly because there is so much other story to be covered, and filming for this show tends to happen many months in advance.
