‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3, episode 9 video: Daisy, Coulson have a chat about Ward

Grant Ward is out for blood on Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” Tuesday night, and the end results of this could be catastrophic. The sneak peek below offers up a little bit of a sense of what you can expect, or at least how some of the characters are planning for what could be the character’s plan of attack.

In order to defeat someone, you have to understand them. This is what the sneak peek below is all about, as Coulson is looking for intel from someone in Daisy Johnson who at least knows a thing or two about how he thinks. She understands him more thanks to his past, and realizes how someone like him could end up looking for influential figures at the wrong place, and also at the wrong time. In her eyes, it is fairly easy to determine how we ended up getting to this place with the Ward character.

Will this information be useful, and is it possible that Daisy will eventually turn back towards him? She does her best to ensure here that this is not going to happen, stating that she will “never” forgive him. For now, we’re incline to believe her, since she has a support system around her of people who are supportive and not evil. We feel like the second part of that is important in particular here.

If there is one other thing that we can tease about this episode, it’s to expect things to get messy … and quickly. There’s not a lot of story left to be told on the show before the winter finale, and the series needs to drop some surprises there if they want a worthy cliffhanger.
