CBS confirms ‘Survivor’ season 32, ‘Criminal Minds’ spin-off, ‘Mike & Molly’ premiere dates
On Monday CBS wasted little time in announcing the premiere dates for their new and returning series this midseason, and for the most part there is clearly a lot to look forward to … at least so long as you don’t love “Person of Interest.” There’s still no word on its launch date, and that is something that we’re going to get into a little bit later on down the road.
As per usual, all times below are Eastern. Unless otherwise noted, the timeslots from the fall remain the same.
Sunday, December 20
8:30 – “Undercover Boss” (premiere, time varies due to NFL; will air at 8:00 on non-football weeks and will air at this timeslot for three weeks)
Wednesday, January 6
8:00 – “2 Broke Girls” (new time)
8:30 – “Mike & Molly” (premiere)
9:00 – People’s Choice Awards
Thursday, January 7
9:30 – “Angel From Hell” (series premiere)
Friday January 8
8:00 – “Undercover Boss” (new time)
Friday, February 12
8:00 – “The Amazing Race 28” (premiere)
Wednesday, February 17
8:00 – “Survivor” season 32 (premiere)
Wednesday, February 24
10:00 – “Code Black” (finale)
Wednesday, March 2
10:00 – “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” (premiere)
Thursday, April 7
8:30 – “The Odd Couple”
The big shock to us from this list, other than the no “Person of Interest,” is that “The Odd Couple” is returning so late for no apparent reason other than waiting for “Life in Pieces” to end. The network is showing a little bit of confidence in it courtesy of it airing after “The Big Bang Theory,” but they’re not going to have a whole lot of time in order to determine whether or not they want to give the show another chance at airing in 2016-17.
