‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5, episode 10 video: The confrontation over Dark Hook

Season 5 of “Once Upon a Time” has been for the most part all about stopping the Dark One … or, as we should call it now, Dark Ones! We’re seeing quite an evolution when it comes to villains this season, and also ways people handle this title. While Emma has tackled the darkness in a way that has made her mysterious, we’re not entirely sure that we would call her 100% evil. It’s too bad we feel a different way about Hook!

In the new sneak peek video below, you can start to see a little bit of the paranoia over Colin O’Donoghue’s character start to play out, as Charming, Snow, and Regina all question Emma about whatever plan Dark Hook may now have. They’ve learned the truth about what she did to him back in Camelot in order to keep him alive, and now the want all of their collective memories back. It’s too bad that there may not be an easy way for this to happen.

At this point, we’re just hoping for some sort of grand resolution given that this story so far has been a little murky and confusing in retrospect. We do not entirely understand the motives of the Dark Swan, and if she is not particularly evil, how much motivation was there for her to wipe the memories of those she is close to? Sure, it may have required answering more questions and uncertainty, but she should trust them at the end of the day and that they can help her.
